It’s me again...  Writing to cheer us up...

Ps 33:18   Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness,
We don’t seem to have much physical peace at present but the rest of the following verse
                             can happen           NOW if we want it...
Acts 9:31   So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace,
being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase.

As I talk to many of you each day in various ways, I am impressed that you all seem to be upbeat!  I know we are each afraid and anxious in our own ways,
                but we seem to be “casting our care on the Lord!”
Ps 55:22  Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you;
                               He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
Ps 43:5  Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Matt 6:22-34    "The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. 24  "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. 25   "For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26  "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27  "And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? 28  "And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29  yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.  30  "But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31  "Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32  "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  33  "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34  "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Ps 18:2    The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Ps 27:5   For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.
Ps 61:2  From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
A passage from sister Marilyn Hibser...
Isa 30:15a      For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said,
          "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength."
